KETCHUM, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Shortly after Adam West passed away from leukemia, his family posted on his Facebook wall.

Their message was to help support two charities close to West, St. Jude and Camp Rainbow Gold.

Camp Rainbow Gold is an Idaho nonprofit dedicated to providing emotionally empowering experiences to Idaho’s children diagnosed with cancer and their families. They take the children to a camp to experience the outdoors and have fun.

The organization has a strong presence in Ketchum, where West spent a lot of his time.

“The West family has been a supporter of Camp Rainbow Gold for many years,” said Christl Holzl, the development director for Camp Rainbow Gold.

That support meant a lot to camp organizers and the people who went when West was alive. They are grateful for his is support even in passing.
