Serving Idaho Families

A cancer diagnosis can be all-encompassing for a family. At Camp Rainbow Gold, cancer may be the thread that ties us together, but it does not define us. Far beyond the hospital room, Camp Rainbow Gold serves as a place for children, siblings, and parents alike to seek refuge and truly be themselves.

Camp Rainbow Gold provides events, programs, resources, and support to Idaho families who have experienced a pediatric cancer diagnosis. Children do not need to be in current treatment to participate.

Family camps and events are open to all ages and members of the caregiving team. Youth oncology camp serves children 6-12 who have experienced pediatric cancer. Teen oncology camp serves teens 13-18 who have experienced cancer. Sibling camp is open to children ages 6-18 who have a sibling who has, or had, cancer. Our programs allow each person to build connections and form unique, often life-long bonds with relative strangers.

Summer camp programs are hosted at Hidden Paradise Camp in Fairfield, Idaho. Transportation options are available for children from around the state.

All Camp Rainbow Gold programs and events are free of charge for the children and families we serve.
