Survivors Supporting Survivors: Let’s Go Sledding!

Survivors Supporting Survivors is a teen group designed for cancer survivors between the ages of 13-18 years old.

NEW JANUARY DATE! Saturday, January 22 at 9 a.m.

This month, we’ll be trying out the snow tubing hill at Eagle Island State Park! Grab a tube, ride the magic carpet to the top, and then enjoy the thrill of the hill as you tube back to the bottom. The park is open in all weather, so while some fresh powder might be nice, we’ll ride no matter what.

We’re asking all participants to RSVP by January 19 as we need to buy tickets 48 hours in advance. Please call our office at 208-350-6435 or email Benton at benton@camprainbowgold.org.

Survivors Supporting Survivors is a teen group designed for cancer survivors between the ages of 13-18 years old. SSS is designed to offer an opportunity for teens to spend time together, try new activities, have fun, and share experiences about the real-life challenges and celebrations of being a teen with a cancer diagnosis.

SSS is open to all teens who have experienced a cancer diagnosis. You do not have to have attended a CRG camp or other program in order to participate. First-timers are always welcome.

And, just like all Camp Rainbow Gold services and programs, Survivors Supporting Survivors events are free.
