The original caped crusader may be gone but the superhero’s kindness is still helping kids in need.

Right before actor Adam West passed away from Leukemia at the age of 88, he urged people to help kids with cancer by donating to Idaho’s Camp Rainbow Gold in his honor on Twitter.

The post went viral and Camp Rainbow Gold was soon getting donations from as far away as Ukraine.

“He does have fans all over the word that have been really outpouring in support sending in donations and writing really heartfelt notes to the family and memories of adam west so it’s really been special to be a part of that,” said Elizabeth Lizberg of Camp Rainbow Gold.

The money will be used to continue the camp’s mission of having kids with cancer and their families experience the outdoors. So far they have received over $2000.
