If you happened to attend, volunteer, donate or have absolutely anything to do with the Share Your Heart Ball earlier this month, this post is for YOU.

With overflowing hearts and a phenomenal sense of optimism for 2014, it’s with the most sincere and kind emotion that we extend our thanks to you for your contribution to the success of the 2014 Share Your Heart Ball, held March 1 at the Sun Valley Inn.

Whatever your role may have been, we consider it a significant and important contribution that ensures Idaho’s children diagnosed with cancer and their families receive the support they need through year-round programs offered by Camp Rainbow Gold. Although Camp Rainbow Gold has more than 30 years of history, this marks the first of many years as an independently run non-profit organization. For this reason, your choice to support us this year through our primary fundraiser resonates, as it helps us create a firm foundation for this new chapter. And for that, we thank you.

And if you find yourself wanting to connect to the Camp Rainbow Gold family before next year’s gala, look to that same website to learn about the variety of ways you can lend yourself throughout the year. Beyond counselor and staff positions for our summer camps and winter retreat, we also continually look to generous volunteers for a wide range of other time- and heart-giving duties that create positive experiences for hundreds of children and their parents, brothers and sisters.
