“Love wins” is more than just a motto for CBH Homes—it’s what they live, breathe, and share. And we witnessed firsthand that these aren’t just words. Have you heard about “Project Gold”? It’s the incredible initiative where CBH Homes and their team built six cabins in just three days at Hidden Paradise, Camp Rainbow Gold’s property in Fairfield, Idaho. How did they pull it off? The answer is simple: heart.
With 160 volunteers and 1,128 trades, it wasn’t just construction—it was a labor of love. The entire week was a testament to the power of community and generosity, where love truly won.
As a fitting symbol of that love, heart-shaped signs now grace the doors of the cabins and the new CBH Love Village entrance. There’s a story behind that heart-shaped sign at the entrance—a story of dedication, passion, and the belief that love can create miracles as well as bring people together. That story begins with the “Hearts Across the Valley” initiative from CBH Homes, a public art experience designed to unite and celebrate the community by placing beautifully crafted hearts throughout the Treasure Valley—and beyond.
Hidden Paradise’s heart is the very first heart in this remarkable project, and it holds a special place because, unlike the others, it will not be visible to the public. Tucked away on private property, it serves as a unique symbol of the deep connection we share. Its placement at the cabin village entrance, with the message “SO GLAD YOU’RE HERE,” offers a warm welcome to every future camper, embodying the love and support we have for them as they embark on their camp journey.
This heart was lovingly designed by Arielle McCormick, CBH Homes’ talented Creative Director, who thoughtfully incorporated elements from Project Gold, reminding us of the incredible work that went into building these new cabins. Shelby Bond, CBH’s very own Graphic Designer, then brought the design to life, hand painting each detail onto the heart with care and creativity. Together, they’ve crafted not just a piece of art but a lasting testament to the spirit of love, unity, and community that Camp Rainbow Gold represents.
