I became involved with Camp Rainbow Gold when an attorney friend of mine asked me to assist with the financial side of the organization after the separation from the American Cancer Society.
Finding Hope
The CRG mission means everything to me. The mission was why I was willing to come on the board and is why I returned to the board. Providing programming for kids with cancer and their siblings and families is the most admirable mission that I can think of to give my time to. This organization provides hope and family in situations where it could be lost.
Being Part of the Board
My favorite part of being on the Board of Directors is the work and camaraderie of the board. Others should get involved with Camp because the work is unmatched.
