Joe Eck is a cancer survivor, former Camp Rainbow Gold Camper, and CRG College Scholarship recipient. He has volunteered and spoken at camp and the annual Share Your Heart Ball over the course of the last 15 years. Joe also volunteers his time with other local and national nonprofits including St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Idaho Humane Society, Kiva, and Jesse Tree.
Born and raised in Idaho, Joe has returned to his hometown to work for Copper Banking, a financial technology startup that focuses on educating teens about financial concepts within their core banking experience. Prior to Copper Banking, Joe worked for PayPal’s Social Innovation team where he worked with national nonprofits on giving campaigns such as Red Nose Day, Giving Tuesday, and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Joe has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies from Washington & Jefferson College.
In his spare time Joe enjoys playing and coaching lacrosse (serves as the Boise State Men’s Lacrosse team assistant coach), skiing, hiking, and traveling to new exciting places. He is excited to reconnect with Camp Rainbow Gold here in Idaho in this new role.
