Volunteer at The Annual Turkey Day 5K

This Boise tradition is a whole-family fun run on Thanksgiving morning. This year marks the 15th year that the event benefits both the Boise Rescue Mission and Camp Rainbow Gold!

When: Volunteer the week before the race and/or on the morning of the race. Shifts on Nov. 21, 23, 24, and 25 will be at various times, when you will help with packet pickup. On Nov. 26 (Thanksgiving Day), shifts start at 6:30 a.m., 7 a.m., and 9 a.m., when you will help at the run.

Where: Packet pickup locations vary around the Boise area. Shifts on Nov. 26 will be at Cecil Andrus Park in front of the Idaho State Capitol Building.

Who: We need at least 30 volunteers. Will you help?

What: For packet pickup, you will help registered runners get their bibs, numbers, shirts, and other information. On Thanksgiving morning, you will help keep runners on course while keeping the energy high by cheering them on!

Why: Show your love for Camp Rainbow Gold, make the annual Boise Turkey Day 5K a smooth and fun race, and show our thanks for being chosen as a partner. Also, the more volunteers we have, the more will be donated to Camp Rainbow Gold!
